The Rites of Spring

My third year in grad school at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, I moved to a 'luxury' apartment building on Michigan Ave. near Vine and Florida in Urbana. I always preferred to stay in Urbana rather than Champaign. As the name implies, Urbana, is more urbane, more hip, and more laid back than its larger twin city. My last spring in Urbana-Champaign, I roamed around my neighborhood and took snap shots of its beauty to remind me how much I enjoyed living there.
