The Bayanihan Dance Company in Songs and Dances
This is the seminal recording made by Monitor of the Bayanihan Dance Company back in the 70s. (I know that because the gentleman in the album cover is presently living in Chicago and he said that the picture was taken long time ago ... :-)). The recording is divided into five sections: Dances of the Mountain Province, Fiesta Filipina, Muslim Suite, Regional Variations, and Rural Philippine Suite. This recording includes the famous fast version of Tinikling.
