Here's another lovingly presented book of recipes from Southeast Asia including the Philippines. The author has traveled extensively in the region and has even spent time in the kitchen of Malacanang Palace. Like Moosewood, the recipes are presented as part of a menu which sometimes mixes dishes from different countries - so one can for example, prepare a delightful Asian feast without having to worry whether one dish would go or not with another. There is an introductory section on Asian ingredients so one would not feel lost if something exotic is mentioned.
